Denise Joseph Nakos, MD, FAAP
Dr. Nakos is originally from Birmingham, Alabama and has been with Cobb Pediatric Associates since 1996. She graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center. Dr. Nakos is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She and her husband have three children and enjoy traveling. Dr. Nakos speaks Spanish.

Beatrice U. Wilder, MD, FAAP
Dr. Wilder is a native of Nuremberg, Germany and joined Cobb Pediatric Associates in 1997. She received her medical degree from the University of Erlangen in Nuremberg, Germany. Dr. Wilder completed her residency in pediatrics at Emory University. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Wilder and her husband have four children and one grandchild. She is fluent in German and conversational in French and Italian.

Dr. Richards is a native of Chesapeake, Virginia and has been with Cobb Pediatric Associates since 2003. Prior to earning his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, he attended Georgia Tech, where he received a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Richards is an advocate for rescue animals and cruelty-free testing. His special interests include sports medicine and general pediatrics.

Dr. Husain worked as Assistant Professor in Clinical Pediatrics at the University of Illinois, and after moving to Georgia served as chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Wellstar Cobb Hospital for three years. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She and her husband have two children. Dr. Husain speaks Bengali and Hindi.

She then completed her residency in Pediatrics at Mount Sinai School of Medicine - Richmond University Medical Center Program, New York. She practiced in New York for two years prior to joining Cobb Pediatric Associates. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She and her husband have a son. Dr. Chandra speaks Nepali, Hindi, and Malayalam.

She attended the Medical College of Georgia for medical school and her pediatrics residency. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, trivia, learning Spanish, exploring tech, and overall learning new things. She is a huge Atlanta United fan.
